It was another successful weekend at Riverside Brookfield for the best live period shootout in the state. There was a ton of talent in the building. We got to see prospects with their new teams for the first time, and we're not disappointed. Here are the prospects we were impressed with throughout the entire weekend.

Thornton
Morez Johnson Jr (2024- PF) - The Illinois commit was dominant all weekend. Friday played infront of future coach and a couple of the Illinois players. He showcased his aggressiveness at the basket, improved outside shooting, elite rebounding, and rim protection. Scored 24 against Romeoville.
Isaiah Green (2024 - PG) - Just announced his transfer to Thornton right before the shootout and fitted right in. Has always been that consistent three point shooter and amazing passer. Was overall impressed with his defense throughout the weekend, pressuring the ball, and making the offensive player work.
Chase Abraham (2024 - PG) - Under the radar player that's been a natural scorer for a couple of years now. Very smooth player getting into the lane for floaters or getting all the way to the basket. Shoots it from deep and is a solid playmaker as well. Scored 20 against Romeoville.
Kenwood
Davion Hannah (2025 - SG) - The story of the weekend is Hannah playing with Kenwood, if he does indeed transfer this will change a lot in the Illinois basketball world. He threw down some ferocious dunks and knocked in some threes, would be the #1 player in state if he transferred.
Chris Riddle (2024 - SF) - Riddle is another athletic wing that plays well in transition. D1 offers should start to roll in with his activity on defense and on the glass. Had 21 points in the win over Rolling Meadows.
Devin Cleveland (2027 - PG) - Cleveland played amazing as he was one of the incoming freshman that impressed over the weekend. He's a smooth bucket getter who also makes plays for others.
Bolingbrook
Davion Thompson (2027 - SG) - One of the impressive incoming freshman that has became a known name in the state. Can flat out shoot the ball from deep, knocking down multiple 3s leading to 18 points in an impressive win over DGN. Smooth lefty, who's got the potential to be the top player in the state for class of 2027.
DJ Strong (2024 - PG) - Another lefty guard for the raiders. Strong at 5'10 has a nice floater game and can knock down the 3 ball as well. Was a key contributor last year and will look to lead this year.
Josh Aniceto (2024 - PG) - Aniceto is one of the better playmakers in the state. Does a lot of the little things on both ends of the floor that gets overlooked. Plays with a good motor and sets the tone for the rest of the team.
Riverside Brookfield
Stefan Cicic (2024 - C) - Picked up offers from Western Illinois and SIUE because of his stellar play from the weekend. The 7'0 big scored 29 points in a win over Bradley, using his touch around the basket. Elite rebounder and will pick up a ton of more offers from the weekend.
Steven Brown (2024 - PG) - Unknown name going into the weekend, put his name on the map with scoring, playmaking, and defense. Scored 20 points in a win over Hyde Park, has a nice pull up game and finds open teammates. Aggressive defender, will be a player small colleges will be all over.
Cameron Mercer (2026 - SG) - A name I've heard some buzz around in the area. The son of Ron Mercer, Cameron shoots the ball extremely well from deep, will have a big sophomore year, and will be a name to track.
Mount Carmel
Angelo Ciaravino (2024 - SG) - Had one of the most impressive weekends. Showed his athleticism in transition, throwing down dunk after dunk. 3 level scorer and improved shot blocking, will have a ton of mid major programs offering soon.
Cameron Thomas (2025 - PG) - Solid size and build at the guard spot, gives him the advantage on the offensive end. Scores at the basket and has a nice pull up jumper. Just transferred back into Mount Carmel.
Lee Marks III (2024 - SG) - The athleticism that Marks possesses is special which is why divison 1 schools are contacting him. Plays above the rim on both ends and has improved his outside shooting this summer.
St Laurence
Nojus Indrusaitis (2024 - SG) - The Iowa State commit put up big time scoring numbers all weekend long with his new squad. The 3 level scoring, smooth handle, and athleticism in transition is what separates him from everybody in the state.
EJ Mosley (2025 - PG) - Mosley is ready to breakout this season with his 3 point shooting and finishing at the rim. Plays with a great motor, is a solid rebounder, and makes the right play. Has received offers from low division 1 schools.
Josh Pickett (2024 - SG) - Pickett does a lot of the little things for the Vikings that D1 coaches love. While doing that he scores from 3 levels and is very unselfish.
Brother Rice
Cale Cosme (2024 - PG) - Small college gem, Cosme is super consistent. Knocks down 3s, creates for others, and holds his own on defense. Is a leader for the crusaders this year.
Zavier Fitch (2024 - PF) - One of the more intriguing prospects. At 6'7, he rim runs, rebounds, and finishes well at the rim. Has shown flashes of outside scoring and is a solid rim protector.
Marcos Gonzales (2025 - SG) - Thrives in transition, Gonzales has a long frame, which helps him get to the basket and finish. Has a ton of upside, and potential to be one of the top two way prospects in the 2025 class.
York
AJ Levine (2024 - PG) Levine is a well rounded guard, can score from all 3 levels, good defender, and showed his improvement in making plays for others. D2's should start contacting.
Kyle Waltz (2024 - SF) - Waltz has jumped onto the scene lately with his lengthy and athleticism in transition and his three point shooting. At 6'5, he's a legit shot blocker and a knockdown shooter.
