*These are from the games I saw“

Ahmad Henderson (Brother Rice)

Henderson is so fun to watch. His ball handle, quickness, and IQ standout. He also shoots at a a high level while being a good defender. Lead his team to an impressive win over Kenwood.

Khalil Ross (Brother Rice) Ross was the driving force for Rice against Kenwood. Has a good slashing game, while being the rebounder and defender for the team. Ross stock will start to rise very soon.

Quentin Jones (Marian Catholic)

Jones is one of the best two way players in the state. Offensively he operates a lot in the midrange area, really good with the pull up jumper. Defensively, can guard all 5 positions, a lot of steals and blocks. He led his team to a win over Kenwood.

Macaleab Rich (East St. Louis)

Rich was a must see at the shootout this weekend. He is 6’7, built, long, and extremely athletic. He is a highlight reel player, multiple big time blocks and dunks. He led his team to a win over Rolling Meadows.

Brock Harding (Moline)

Harding had 22 points in the win over Whitney Young. The smooth guard is so quick getting to the basket and so good finishing at the basket. Recently committed to Iowa, good pickup for them.

Owen Freeman (Moline)

Freeman had 20 points against Whitney Young. The big man finishes over the rim, is dominate in the paint, and is an elite rebounder. Also committed to Iowa.

Dalen Davis (Whitney Young)

Davis got hot against Moline. He had 6 threes, not all catch and shoot, most were off the dribble. He is the leader, playmaker, and scorer for this team.

Jake Fiegen (New Trier)

Fiegen is the dream player for college coaches. Always talking on defense, tough, and knocks down the 3 ball with the best of them. Recently offered by Navy, and a lot more offers should start to come in.

Matas Castillo (Lemont)

Castillo is a fun guard to watch. Plays with a high motor, elite defensively, and a top playmaker in the state. Speedy and shifty getting to the basket finishing at the rim and jumps passing lanes for steals and transition baskets.

Rokas Castillo (Lemont)

Rokas is more of the shooter and scorer. Gets hot quick knocking down 3s, even through contact. Also had a tough couple of finishes through bigger defenders. Always pressuring defensively, good at switching quickly on the perimeter.

Asa Thomas (Lake Forest)

Thomas does a lot for this Lake Forest team. Brings up the ball, running the offense, but usually gets it back hitting 3s, and getting it done in the post. Most recent offer from Clemson.
