*These are from the games I saw*
Miles Boland (Loyola)
Boland is a guard in the junior class who will start to emerge as the summer goes on. With size at the guard position, it helps him be a standout defender, while being a knock down shooter as well. Playing with Illinois Wolves this summer.
Alex Engro (Loyola)
Engro is a flat out winner. He hit a buzzer beating 3 to tie the game and hits the game ending free throws. The 2023 point guard fills up the stat sheet, does a little bit of everything, the heart and soul of this Loyola team.
Mekhi Cooper (Bolingbrook)
Cooper has picked up a lot of offers throughout this week, and the way he is playing, he will continue to. Consistent shot maker, off the dribble and catch and shoot. He has great IQ and plays with poise.
Aries Hull (Bolingbrook)
Good to see Hull back in Illinois, energy booster for the raiders. Good rebounder and rim runner, who finishes well through contact. Has been a great pickup for the raiders so far during the summer.
Adoni Vassilakis (Marist)
Vassilakis is 2026 point guard who is smooth scorer and playmaker with a ton of potential. Knocked down a couple of 3s in a win over Waubonsie Valley, showing outside scoring as well.
Stephen Brown (Marist)
Brown is the other 2026 standout for Marist. The 6’8 forward has a ton of upside with his rebounding and shot blocking ability. Most impressed with his capability to step out and hit the 3, along with a really good slashing game.
James Brown (St. Rita)
Brown impressed me a lot today. The lefty 4 star big man dominated in the lower post, showing an elite jump hook. Elite rebounder and shot blocker as well. Best overall player in Illinois.
Morez Johsnon (St. Rita)
Johnson‘s skill as a big is unmatched in the state. Can create for himself on the perimeter, along with great touch around the basket. Can guard a lot of different positions on the court as well.
