The Et21 Buckeyes are back in business! Their second year back with the similar group. Have added some nice players to their solid squad. Last year, they showcased their good guard play and shooting ability. They will start out at the Ny2la Swish N Dish tournament this weekend in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Roster:

Key Additions:

Corey Lee (Oak Lawn) - The 6'0 guard is an elite on ball defender, locks up the best player on the other team. He's got a good handle, vision, and attacks the basket well. Will add to the talented guard play!

Dennasio Lagoia (Lake Park) - 6'2 wing has a streaky shot from deep and attacks the boards. Had a 32 point performance this season including 8 three pointers made.

Ethan Lewis (Aurora Central Catholic) - The Buckeyes add some more size with 6'6 big Lewis. Will bring much needed rebounding and interior defense.

Guards:

Ryan Runaas (Lemont) - Combo guard who can score from all 3 levels, best from 3. Good court vision, often finds open teammates in transition. Crafty finisher, had a breakout aau season last year.

Will Gehrke (Lincoln Way Central) - Gehrke is a high IQ guard, with a high motor, and is a good on - ball defender.

Cale Cosme (Brother Rice) - 5'7 point guard who puts the ball in the basket. Last game of the season put up 27 points against Kenwood. He shoots the ball from deep, deep, gets to the rim, and has a great handle.

Wings:

Kris Gabrenas (Lemont) - The 6'3 wing can stretch the floor, run in transition, and play solid defense.

Tasso Mikroulis (Lemont) - The 6'2 wing from Lemont is solid. Shooter, defense, and a high game iq.

Alex Keizer (Timothy Christian) - Keizer put up some solid numbers this year for Timothy Christian. He had 28 point 9 rebound game in the regional semifinals. At 6'5 he's a great shooter from deep and rebounds.

Bigs:

Thon Bill (Timothy Christian) - Bill the 6'8 forward is an intriguing prospect. Runs the floor, finishes, blocks shots, and is improving perimeter skill. Possibly the top college prospect on this team.

The Buckeyes had a solid showing last year on the Prep Hoops circuit, and definitely have improved. They will be a good team bouncing around from Ny2la to Prep Hoops. Here's their schedule for this season:

College coaches if any questions about a prospect feel free to contact me, so I can give my insight and forward you to the player and the Buckeye organization.
